‘Murder of a Millionaire’ coming to the Vendome on Nov. 2

On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Arrow-Heart Adventure Camp will host its 4th annual Murder Mystery Dinner  “Murder of a Millionaire” at the Weiser Vendome Events Center.
Doors open for this grand event at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m. by the Arrow-Heart teens. In addition, there will be a no host bar for adults and the dinner will be catered by Ogawa’s Restaurant. The menu is mafa chicken, yakisoba noodles, with steamed vegetables and dessert. The cost of the event is $35 per person, with a limited number of tickets to be sold.
The organizers are encouraging ticket sales for VIP tables of 8 guests. All VIP tables will receive free tickets for a surprise drawing. There also will be several door prize drawings throughout the evening.
Arrow-Heart began doing these events about five years ago, in an effort to raise money to fund future camping events for the new Arrow-Heart teens. Each year, anywhere from 100 to 130 people attend the event.
Arianne Zucker (Nicole from the TV series) “Days of Our Lives” and co-founder of Arrow-Heart has attended and endorsed the event each year. She and actor/producer Shawn Christian, have sponsored and supported the program since its conception.
Unfortunately, neither she nor Shawn will be able to attend this year’s event due to their career schedules. However, she did send items to be auctioned off at the event.
Arrowheart’s two coaches, Mandy Comer and Rachel Fenske-Wilson,  carefully select a different murder mystery each year for the cast to present. The title of this year’s murder mystery is the “Murder of a Millionaire.” The cast of players encourage each table to solve the crime and identify the murderer. The winning table receives gifts and prizes.
All proceeds from the dinner, silent auction and raffle go toward funding next year’s program of new teens. The support for this program comes from this singular event.
The Arrow-Heart  program has made a difference in the lives of Weiser teens each year since its founding. Arrow-Heart is a unique organization that helps students through an exciting and challenging adventure camp experience.
Arrow-Heart equips teens at a crossroads with the survival skills to build a sense of self worth, take responsibility for their own lives, and ultimately become an asset in their communities.
The program focuses on young adults between the ages of 13 and 17 years of age. Arrow-Heart  works with these students at a crossroad to adulthood through positive experiences and personal reflection. Their goal is to teach these youth that every person has a special purpose to fulfill that contributes to our society.
The group is still accepting donations for silent auctions and raffle items. Any donations are greatly appreciated To donate items for the event or purchase tickets, please contact Linda Fenske at 208-549-2397 or 208-550-1614 (call or text).
