Weiser community is very supportive of recreation sports

This last Saturday, Cathy and I had the opportunity to participate in an occasion that doesn’t happen very often. 
 A church in the community where Cathy and I graduated high school from was having their 125th anniversary. (I know some of you might ask if we were charter members, but the answer is a hard “no.”)  

Friends of the Hospital pie sale

 The Friends of Weiser Memorial Hospital will have their annual pie sale on Friday, May 12 starting at 10 a.m. at the Weiser Christian Church, 1299 E. 2nd St. Pies will be $15 each. Please enter from parking lot on State St.

Preservation Committee to meet May 1

 The Weiser Architectural Preservation Committee board will meet at 4 p.m. in the commissioners room of the courthouse basement on Monday, May 1.  It will be followed at 5 p.m. by the Weiser and County Historic Preservation Commission meeting.  Members and the public are welcomed to attend or participate via Zoom at the following link. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83137075515?pwd=bTR3UytFYWU4bk8rZDJwYkhPQ2ViQT09.

Easter celebration hymn sing

 St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and the Church of the Redeemer will present an Easter celebration hymn sing with musicians Iran Trenkel, pipe organ and Cathy Hibberd, piano, on Sunday, April 30 at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church located at 106 E. Liberty, Weiser.
